About Katie
Katie Leininger is an experienced operator and strategic advisor focused on social enterprises and mission-driven businesses. Over the past fifteen years, she has led organizations from pre-revenue to $65 million in revenue across private equity, venture-backed, and bootstrapped environments — building teams, systems, and strategies that scale with integrity.
From 2020 to 2024, Katie served as CEO of KCare, a behavioral health and child welfare software company, and later as Co-CEO of its parent company, Radicle Health (2023 – 2025). Under her leadership, KCare reached profitability, integrated three acquisitions (extendedReach, Exym, and Stabilify), and grew organic revenue from single digits to the high teens. She also led a cultural turnaround — improving employee Net Promoter Score (NPS) from –10 to above 40 — and guided the company’s certification as a B Corp and commitment to the 1% Pledge.
At Radicle Health, Katie co-led the reorganization of nine software acquisitions into a single company with two business units, while serving as Interim President of the newly formed EHR Solutions division. Both KCare and Radicle Health are part of Alpine Investors’ ($18 billion private-equity firm) vertical SaaS platform, Alpine Software Group (ASG).
Before her time in behavioral health, Katie co-founded and served as Managing Director of Springtech Capital, a quantitative trading firm with proprietary technology, where she continues to serve on the board. Earlier, she was Head of Business Development and Regulatory Affairs at Audacy, a venture-backed space startup pioneering commercial space communications networks.
Katie began her career in international development, launching projects in Haiti for clients including TOMS shoes and the Inter-American Development Bank — work that first shaped her conviction that durable systems change comes from both mission and management.
She holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a B.S. in International Relations and French from Seton Hall University.
